Federico Marchetti has no doubts that his Lazio side will have done all they can to be ready to take on Juventus this weekend as they face each other in the Supercoppa Italiana.
The Italian international goalkeeper and his team mates will play the Bianconeri in Shanghai, China and will be seeking revenge after having lost in the Coppa Italia final to Juve last season.
“We have all worked hard and personally I have over a month’s worth of preparation as I joined the training camp early,” he told Lazio’s official website. “With the expected weather conditions it will be important to use our energy wisely.
“I think whoever has the most desire will win.
“I’m also surprised about how much fans over here are interested in us and hopefully on Saturday we will put on a great show for them.”
The match is scheduled to be played on Saturday at the Shanghai Stadium and will officially start the Italian football’s 2015-16 season.
