Jonathan De Guzman NapoliThe future of Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman will be decided over the next 48 hours as both Bournemouth and Marseille are in a bidding war for the Dutchman.

De Guzman is apparently certain to leave the club, and it is simply a matter of whether he goes to France or returns to England where he previously had a successful stay with Swansea City.

Tuttomercatoweb.com have noted that the Marseille president has flown to Naples to further discuss the future of the player who has been valued at €5 million by the Neapolitans.

Despite this apparent progress with Marseille, the best bid that Napoli have received is a reported €7 million from Bournemouth which has set the standard for the French club.

The Canadian-born Dutch international has played relatively frequently for Napoli making 23 appearances since he moved to the Partenopei last summer.

However, the player and club have made it very clear that he is to leave before the end of this transfer window.
