Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman looks set for a move to the south of France with Marseille.
The 27-year-old Dutchman signed last summer from Villarreal and made 31 appearances for the Partenopei last season, scoring seven goals, but is no longer wanted by new coach Maurizio Sarri.
According to Calciomercato.com, The Ligue 1 side look set bring the former Swansea midfielder on an initial loan for €500,000 with an option to buy the player for a fee in the region of €5 million at the end of the season.
De Guzman, who was born in Canada, started his career at Feyenoord making his debut at the age of 17 before moving to Spain in 2010 with Mallorca.
The attacking midfielder is also a Dutch international with 14 caps currently to his name.
