Napoli goalkeeper Mariano Andujar is reportedly hoping to join Atalanta before the summer transfer window comes to an end.
The 32-year-old, whose current contract with the Partenopei is set to expire in June 2017, has been steadily linked with a possible move to French side Nice, though it seems like he would prefer a stay in the Serie A and could be more open to joining the Orobici.
According to Tuttosport, Atalanta have been monitoring the Argentine as a possible replacement for Marco Sportiello as of late, as the young keeper is thought to be on the verge of making a transfer to the Premier League, which has left the Azzurri man waiting on news from La Dea regarding his future in Bergamo.
Andujar conceded 24 goals in his 15 Serie A appearances last term but managed to secure four clean sheets.
