Napoli are reportedly interested in acquiring both Romulo and Jacopo Sala from Hellas Verona before the current transfer window shuts.
Romulo attracted interest this summer from several big Serie A clubs as well as French side Marseille while Sala has not yet been the subject of any concrete bids.
According to Corriere di Verona, the Partenopei face a battle with Inter for the duo, although neither club has made any formal contact about Sala.
Romulo had an unlucky period on loan to Juventus during the 2014/15 campaign, spending most of the season sidelined with injury.
Prior to his injuries, the 28-year-old Brazil-born Italian had the most successful season of his career with the Gialloblu, notching up four goals and eight assists over 32 appearances.
The promosing 23-year-old Sala seemed to finally blossom for Verona last term after several disappointing years that included a failed stint at Bundesliga side Hamburg.
