Napoli look set to make a final day move for Udinese defender Thomas Heurtaux in a bid to strengthen their back-line before the transfer window shuts.
The 27-year-old has been a target of the Partenopei’s throughout the summer, with coach Maurizio Sarri not backing down in an attempt to land the Frenchman.
It is not an unexpected move, with the Naples-based club failing to keep a clean sheet in either of their opening matches, whilst Udinese have let in just one goal in 180 minutes of football.
The 27-year-old has been one of Udinese’s top stars of recent years since his move in 2013, playing in over 80 matches whilst also popping up with five goals.
