Ligue 1 side Marseille have made an offer for Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman.
Despite only joining the Partenopei last summer, the Dutch International is no longer in the plans of coach Maurizio Sarri and looks to be on the verge of a move to France.
According to Tuttosport, before moving to sign another defender, Napoli will try to move on De Guzman and have received an offer of €2.5 million from the Ligue 1 side. However, the Neapolitan side have set an asking price of €4 million for the 27 year-old.
De Guzman started his career at Dutch side Feyenoord and made his debut at the age of 17 before moving to Spain with Mallorca.
The 27-year-old also enjoyed a spell in the Premier League with Swansea, where he won the Capital One Cup in the 2012-13 season.
