Juan Jesus InterThere has been much transfer-related talk between Inter and Napoli in recent weeks over a number of different players including the Nerazzurri’s Juan Jesus and the Partenopei’s Faouzi Ghoulam, Dries Mertens and Manolo Gabbiadini.

A potential swap for Jesus and Ghoulam was set to be discussed between the two clubs as well as the possibility of one of Mertens or Gabbiadini heading north as both teams look to strengthen their squads.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, there will be a follow-up meeting over the potential swap deal for Ghoulam and Jesus although Napoli have reportedly already turned down an offer from Inter for the full-back.

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport have commented that this swap deal will likely not advance as the southern side are more interested in pursuing Hellas Verona’s midfielder and makeshift full-back Jacopo Sala.

The Nerazzurri are also looking to Gabbiadini and mainly Mertens, who is reportedly a first priority target for Inter coach Roberto Mancini.
