With the departures of Gokhan Inler and Jonathan de Guzman expected to be completed by the end of the week, as well as the possibility that both Eduardo Vargas and Kalidou Koulibaly could leave the club, the Partenopei are after reinforcements and Sala appears to be the first player they will attempt to sign.

Tuttosport reports that Napoli could submit a bid of €5.5 million in order to get the 23-year-old’s signature and bring him to the Stadio San Paolo.

The versatile Italian, who can play in midfield but also at right wing-back, joined Verona in 2013 from German club Hamburg and has got three goals in his 34 games for the Serie A side, providing a further four assists during his two seasons in a Gialloblu shirt.
