Palermo are currently in negotiations with Arsenal over the sale of striker Joel Campbell but are having difficulty finding an agreement.

The Sicilian club have been on the lookout this summer for an attacker to replace new Juventus forward Paulo Dybala and feel that the Costa Rican international is the man to take over from the Argentine.

According to the Giornale di Sicilia, the Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini is flying to London this week in an attempt to reach an agreement with The Gunners, with the North London side’s asking price being the only obstacle.

However, Palermo will need to act fast as Campbell is not lacking for suitors, with Sporting Clube de Portugal, Real Sociedad, Trabzonspor and Benfica all thought to be interested.

Campbell was a bit-part player for Arsene Wenger last season and was loaned out to Villarreal in January.
