Joel Campbell ArsenalPalermo are yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal for Joel Campbell.

It was reported on Thursday that the Rosanero president Maurizio Zamparini was in London to negotiate a deal for the Costa Rican international.

However, speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger denied an agreement had been reached.

“We have received nothing concrete from anybody,” the Frenchman revealed.

Campbell has spent a number of seasons on loan in several European Leagues including Ligue 1 with Lorient, La Liga with Real Betis and Villarreal, as well as the Greek Superleague with Olympiacos.

It is believed that Palermo see the 23-year-old as an ideal replacement for Argentine Paulo Dybala who moved to Juventus earlier this summer.

The Costa Rican impressed during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but has failed to break in to the Premier League side’s first team since joining the club in 2011.Palerm
