Pepe: I will give my all for Chievo

New Chievo signing Simone Pepe has revealed that he plans to give his all for the Gialloblu and admits that he’s excited to play an important role in coach Rolando Maran’s line up.

The 31-year-old recently arrived at the Flying Donkeys from Juventus on a free transfer and he insists that he’s found a renewed determination since joining the Stadio Bentegodi outfit, while also confirming his hopes to help the side attain salvation during the 2015-16 campaign.

Pepe spoke during his press conference reveal about the positive emotions surrounding his move to Chievo and commented on his mission to do the best that he possibly can for his new team.

“I’m very happy to have arrived at this club,” said the veteran winger, who scored one goal and provided one assist in his 12 Serie A appearances for Juve last term.

“I will put all of my heart and all of my determination into doing well for Chievo.

“It feels like I’ve went back in time, I’m really pumped and I have a great desire to start. I’m settled now.

“My recent injury? I have matured a lot thank to the injury. I feel like I’m reborn.

“My objectives? Certainly to attain salvation and to prove that I’m ready to play and fight for this team.”
