After finalising the transfer of young German international Antonio Rudiger, Roma are still looking to strengthen their defensive line.

The 22-year-old who arrived from Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart is the latest addition to Roma’s defensive which is currently undergoing a revolution on Walter Sabatini’s demand and Rudi Garcia’s implementation.

Il Messaggero report Roma are chasing Catania’s Norbert Gyomber as Rudiger’s back up while other players on the wish list are Kurt Zouma, Mamadou Sakho, Nacho, Aleksandar Milosevic, Juan Jesus and Dante.

After the departure of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to Lyon, it seems that Ashley Cole and Vasilis Torosidis will play a part in this revolutionary procedure by leaving the club as well.

As it stands, the Greek full back will be moving to Bologna while the ex- Chelsea star’s future is still to be decided but is likley to leave Roma and Serie A this summer
