Roma looking to close deal for Stuttgart defender

Roma will be hoping to land Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger sooner rather than later, as the Serie A season draws closer.

The German defender has also reportedly attracted interest from Napoli but it seems as though the Giallorossi are pole position to sign the 22-year-old

According to Sky Sport Italia, there will be important developments in the coming days to determine whether or not the capital club will be pursuing their chase to sign him.

Rudiger impressed for Stuttgart last season making 35 appearances and scoring 2 goals but he is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
