Roma are reportedly plotting a move for Malaga ace Sergi Darder.
With Kevin Strootman still rehabilitating from a long-term injury, the Giallorossi need reinforcements in their midfield and have turned their attention towards Darder. The Serie A runners-up are not the first club to have expressed interest in the 21-year-old, with Premier League duo Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur known to be admirers of the midfielder.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Giallorossi are considering a move for the Spain international. Darder has been valued by Los Boquerones at around €10 million, with his contract expiring in 2018.
The La Liga side are known to have rejected a number of offers from top clubs around Europe as they look determined to hold on the promising youngster.
Darder has featured a total of 63 times for Malaga, scoring six goals in the process.
