Xherdan Shaqiri’s move from Inter to English Premier League side Stoke City has been made official after the club announced the deal via social media.
The 23-year-old Swiss international was spotted in the stands during Stoke’s 1-0 loss to Liverpool at home in the Britannia Stadium at the weekend, all but confirming the forward’s move away from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The signing has now been officially announced on the club’s official twitter account with several photos, including one of the former Bayern Munich man putting pen to paper.

The English side additionally announced that the winger has been brought in for a club record fee, with the deal being worth around €17 million.
Shaqiri leaves Inter after just eight months, having joined in the January transfer window from Bavarian giants Bayern Munich. He scored just one goal in 15 games for Roberto Mancini’s side.
