HernandezTorino are still deep in negotiations with Hull City over a move for striker Abel Hernandez.

The Granata have spent much of the summer transfer window pursuing the Uruguayan forward only for the Tigers to continually turn down their advances.

Torino had originally planned to take Hernandez on loan but that option was killed off by Hull, however according to Sky Sport Italia a transfer fee of around €8 million would accelerate negotiations for the former Palermo forward.

The Serie A side have continued to press ahead with negotiations as the player has made it clear he wants to quit the Humberside club after their relegation to the English Championship.

Hernandez suffered a frustrating spell during his time in England, scoring just four times in 25 appearances as Hull were relegated from the Premier League following their 18th place finish.
