abel_hernandezTorino are finding it difficult to complete a deal for Hull City’s Abel Hernandez.

Il Toro have been linked with the former Palermo man for some time now after a move for the current Rosanero striker Andrea Belotti fell through.

According to Tuttosport.com, while Torino have increased their offer for the Uruguayan, the Tigers are still being reluctant to lower the asking price which is believed to be close to the €12 million they paid for Hernandez in the summer of 2014.

The Granata would like to take the 24-year-old on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy the striker outright next summer.

Hernandez endured a frustrating first season in England, making just 15 starts and scoring a disappointing total of four goals.

The Uruguayan also experienced relegation for the second time in his career after first experiencing it with Palermo in 2013.
