Turkish club Trabzonspor are chasing Napoli’s Chilean international striker Eduardo Vargas.
The 25-year-old has struggled to claim a starting berth at the Partenopei since signing from Universidad de Chile in 2012, and after going out on loan numerous times in the last few seasons, it appears that the striker isn’t in coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans for the upcoming campaign.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Turkish club are looking for an initial loan deal worth roughly €1.5 million with the option of making the deal permanent for €8.5m.
Vargas was out on loan with QPR last season, where he made 21 appearances in the Premier League, scoring only three times and grabbing two assists.
Despite this, the attacker had an impressive Copa America as he helped his country claim the trophy by scoring four goals in six matches.
