Stefano Colantuono has praised his side after they beat Juventus in Turin in round one of Serie A.
The only goal of the game was scored by Cyril Thereau and Colantuono thought his side were excellent.
“We played against a great Juventus side but our players were magnificent,” Colantuono told reporters after the match at the Juventus stadium.
“In a game against Juventus you have to be at your best as it is very hard to get a positive result against them.
“We were compact and defended very well.
“In the second half we were able to counter attack well and that is how our goal came about.
“Bruno Fernandes was superb throughout, he has great ability both in defence and going forward.”
