Zenit St. Petersburg are yet to receive a formal offer for Italian defender Domenico Criscito, despite a strong interest from Inter.
The left-back’s agent has claimed that Roberto Mancini’s club have contacted him regarding his client, and the Nerazzuri will have extra funds available following the transfer of Mateo Kovacic to Real Madrid.
However, Tuttomercatoweb.com reports that the Russian champions have not received any official bids and still consider the ex-Genoa player a key component of their side.
But new restrictions on the number of foreign players permitted in each Russian Premier League club are now in force, which could prompt Zenit to entertain offers for Criscito, whom they value at €15 million.
The Italian international has made 123 appearances in all competitions for the Anti-Aircarft Gunners since leaving Serie A in 2011.
