AC Milan, Fininvest, have denied that there is an agreement in place to sell further shares in the Italian giants.
Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has been in negotiations with investor Bee Taechaubol who is set to complete a deal for a stake in the club this month, but rumours had surfaced that it would lead to a further sale of shares.
“In some newspapers this morning, there were stories about negotiations for a minority stake in Milan,” read a statement from Fininvest.
“These are totally baseless rumours.”
Fininvest is the holding company of Milan which is majority owned by Silvio Berlusconi.
However, Berlusconi is set to sell just under half his stake in the Rossoneri for around €500 million pending the completion of a deal with Taechaubol, who is also known as Mr Bee.
