AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has expressed his determination to keep on improving following his friendly strike against Mantova.

The Rossoneri won 3-2 in a match arranged for those not currently on international duty, with the out-of-favour Italian international hitting the opener, before providing an assist for team-mate Andrea Poli.

“Is just the start. Happy but not satisfied,” said Balotelli on his official Instagram profile.

“Let’s keep working hard, we need it and hopefully we will fly.”

Furthermore, he was later brought down for Luiz Adriano to convert AC Milan’s third goal from the spot, in what proved to be a narrow victory over their Lega Pro opposition.

Balotelli began his second spell at the club in the role of unused substitute last weekend, as the Diavolo overcame Empoli 2-1 in Serie A.

He rejoined AC Milan on a season-long loan from English Premier League side Liverpool in August.
