AC Milan still interested in Sampdoria playmaker

Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano is still the subject of interest from AC Milan, who are keen on signing him the January transfer window.

Soriano had been very close to joining Napoli on transfer deadline day but the move fell through after the Partenopei failed to complete the required paperwork.

According to Leggo.it, however, Milan who were linked with the Italian in the summer, are still eager to bring Soriano to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

In fact, due to former Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s longing for the midfielder, he is apparently top of managing director Adriano Galliani’s list of potential signings.

This season the 24-year-old has started all of Sampdoria’s games and has managed to score one goal and create another two for his teammates.

Last season he made 33 Serie A appearances.
