Palermo but is disappointed to have drawn the game.

The Biancorossi were on the verge of their first ever win in Serie A, however they conceded in the last few minutes as Palermo snatched a share of the points in a 2-2 draw, and Castori was happy with his players.

“We played a fantastic game, despite falling behind,” Castori told Rai Sport.

“We did well to come back and we managed to take the lead, eventually we were a bit naive and conceded a poor goal.

“It is a shame to have drawn, but it was still an excellent performance.

“[Marco] Borriello will be an important player for us, especially if he maintains this goal-scoring rate.

“He has come here with a great sense of humility and he is a luxury for us, he will give us a big hand in avoiding relegation.”
