Lazio drew 1-1 with Dnipro at an empty Dnipro-Arena on Thursday night, after a last gasp equaliser from the Ukrainian outfit.

A header from youngster Sergej Milinkovic-Savic after a teasing free-kick from Ricardo Kishna put Lazio in front but in the 93rd minute Yehven Seleznyov headed into an empty net to grab a point.

From the off, it was Lazio who were in control and had already had six shots to the home side’s zero before they actually took the lead.

After a foul on Felipe Anderson, Kishna whipped in the free-kick and 20-year-old Milinkovic-Savic headed past Denys Boyko in the Dnipro goal.

The hosts nearly pulled one back just before the break but the header from Seleznyov was easily saved by the visitors’ keeper Federico Marchetti.

The start of the second half was very quiet and took until half way through the half for the first real chance to be registered. Danilo tried his luck for the Ukrainian side from range but his shot whistled past the post.

Ten minutes from time the hosts came close again as Edmar tried a cross come shot which was blocked well by Marchetti.

But, in the last minute of injury time Seleznyov got on the end of a cross from Leo Matos to head in to an empty net.

Now, all four teams in the group are stuck on one point each following the 2-2 draw between Saint Etienne and Rosenborg.
