Sevilla coach Unai Emery admitted his squad was outplayed following the 2-0 defeat to Juventus at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on Wednesday evening.
Alvaro Morata opened the scoring moments before half-time with a well placed header before substitute Simone Zaza sealed the victory in the closing stages with a neat right-footed finish.
“In the attack things went quite well, we have made progress but it is not sufficient,” Emery told reporters after the defeat.
“I have seen improvements. The result is right and now we have to move forward from this match.
“They have a great team, they took advantage of us. We have four other challenges to come in this group now and we’ll play the best we can and try to win each match.”
