Fiorentina midfielder Marcos Alonso has revealed that new coach Paulo Sousa is more personable than his predecessor Vincenzo Montella.
Fiorentina have started this season brilliantly and are currently perched at the top of the Serie A table, but the Spaniard has insisted that the Viola must continue working hard if they are to succeed.
“It is only the start but we are happy with our current position,” said Alonso to Radio Blu.
“We must continue to work with our usual humility.”
He continued: “As for the Scudetto, we must take every game as they come and simply keep working hard so that we can achieve our goals.”
“Sousa is a coach who loves to talk, I do not want to compare him but there is more contact now.
“The trust he is giving me is important, playing every week is crucial for my improvement.”
