Former AC Milan defender Thiago Silva thinks Mario Balotelli can make the difference against Inter this weekend as long he is willing to put in the required effort.
The 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain centre-back gave his outlook on the upcoming Derby della Madonnina including the aforementioned Italian striker and Inter’s Brazilian defender Miranda.
”The derby will be won by the one who takes advantage from their chances. It is always difficult to predict who will come out on top,” Silva told Sky Sport Italia.
”Inter are strong and the derby will be tough but I am vying for Milan.
”Miranda? I know that he has hurt his knee. If he doesn’t play someone else will and it won’t make a difference.
”If Balotelli has the desire he can make the difference in any team. I always speak with him and will send him a text message ahead of this important game.”
