Former Queens Park Rangers owner and Juventus supporter Flavio Briatore has weighed in on Roma’s chances of winning the Scudetto.

The Giallorossi recently defeated reigning champions Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico in a performance that underlined their ambitions to win the league title for only the fifth time in their history, but Briatore doubts they have the mentality to see off the Bianconeri.

“Am I worried about Juventus? No, I would be more worried if I supported Roma,” Briatore said at a promotional event reported by Corriere dello Sport.

“There are those who are used to winning and those who are not, sport is like that.

“Those who know how to win are used to it, and for the others there is something that will sooner or later happen to them.”

Briatore previously served as chairman at Queens Park Rangers but quit amid a Football League investigation which was prompted after his expulsion from Formula One.
