The owners and directors of AC Milan are reportedly divided by their future plans for the club.

Thai businessman Bee Taechaubol is closing in on a 48% stake in the Rossoneri, with an announcement now expected to be delivered on 30 September, but already there is reported friction between his interests and the direction that the Berlusconi family want to take the club.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the disagreements are mainly between Taechaubol and director Barbara Berlusconi, who also serves as deputy chief executive of the Milanese side.

While both parties share a common goal of growing the club as a business and bringing it back to glory in Italy and Europe, there appears to be fundamental differences in the paths they have already planned to achieve this.

Earlier this month, Milan scrapped plans to relocate to a state-of-the-art new stadium elsewhere in the city.
