Former Napoli stopper Mariano Andujar has now officially confirmed that he has bid farewell to the Partenopei, to join Argentine club Estudiantes.

The 32-year-old regained a first team spot last season after a series of impressive performances in Serie A and the Europa League and also due to Rafael’s decline.

Andujar confirmed the move on his Twitter handle, along with 4 photographs showing his Estudiantes days, with this being his third stint at the club.

Andujar, who joined the Partenopei back in 2014 from Serie A side Catania, made a total of 12 appearances under former manager Rafael Benitez. He has already made a total of 122 appearances for Estudiantes, with a majority of them coming during his permanent stint there between 2006 and 2009, while the others came during his loan move to Argentina back in 2012.
