Mandorlini - Hellas VeronaHellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini was left feeling bitter after his teams’s exciting 2-2 draw with Torino at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Sunday afternoon.

The Gialloblu twice had their lead cancelled out by a gritty Granata side and Mandorlini felt that his side deserved more from the game.

“We were determined to win but we weren’t successful.  There is regret as we deserved to win”, the Verona tactician told reporters after the match.

The Mastini coach then went on to praise the young players in his squad.

“We have [Federico] Viviani who is young. He will grow and demonstrate the abilities we have all seen in him.”

“Then there is also [Jacopo] Sala”, said Mandorlini.

Finally the 55-year-old was asked for his opinion ahead of Sunday evening’s Derby Della Madonnina between Inter and AC Milan.

“As always, I hope Inter win. But it will be a hard fought match.”
