Inter coach hails impact of former Juventus midfielder

Dejan Stankovic UdineseInter first team coach Dejan Stankovic has praised the form of Felipe Melo since his arrival during the summer transfer window.

The 32-year-old Brazilian international joined the Nerazzurri from Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray for a fee in the region of €3.5 million.

“Felipe always gives his all on the field,” Stankovic told Sky Sport Italia before Inter’s match against Chievo.

“We played against each other and defended the colours of our teams. I respect him a lot, he always wanted to win and arrives everywhere to help his teammates.”

Melo had previous spells in Serie A with Fiorentina and Juventus before joining Galatasaray in 2011, initially on loan before making the move permanent in 2013.
