Inter first team coach Dejan Stankovic has praised the form of Felipe Melo since his arrival during the summer transfer window.

The 32-year-old Brazilian international joined the Nerazzurri from Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray for a fee in the region of €3.5 million.

“Felipe always gives his all on the field,” Stankovic told Sky Sport Italia before Inter’s match against Chievo.

“We played against each other and defended the colours of our teams. I respect him a lot, he always wanted to win and arrives everywhere to help his teammates.”

Melo had previous spells in Serie A with Fiorentina and Juventus before joining Galatasaray in 2011, initially on loan before making the move permanent in 2013.
