Alvaro Morata JuveJuventus are working to give Alvaro Morata a substantial pay-rise in order to keep the Spaniard at the club.

The striker joined the Bianconeri from Real Madrid last summer, however the Spanish giants have retained an option to repurchase the striker and there have been rumours that Rafael Benitez’s side could consider opening the door to a dramatic return for the 22-year-old.

However, according to Tuttosport, Juventus are set to guard against losing out on one of their prized assets by offering Morata a five-year deal which will see the striker in line for a substantial pay-rise.

The Bianconeri are set to more than double the player’s wages so that after bonuses he would be earning around €5 million per season by signing a new contract to extend his stay in Turin.

Speculation that Morata could make a return to the Spanish capital gained traction after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hinted at re-signing the player, however it is understood that Morata is content at Juventus.
