Lazio goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is reportedly on the verge of signing a renewal with the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
The 32-year-old, whose current deal with the Biancocelesti is set to expire in June 2016, has been expected to sign an extension with the Italian side for quite some time now, though the club is still yet to come to an agreement with the player regarding the amount of years to be added to the contract.
According to Il Messaggero, the goalkeeper and his representatives have already come to a financial agreement with Lazio, but are now pushing to extend his deal until 2020, while the Aquilotti would be looking to only lengthen the contract until 2019.
Marchetti, who has been on the bench with a fractured rib for the first two games on the 2015-16 game, conceded 29 goals and secured 11 clean sheets in his 30 Serie A appearances last term.
