Hellas Verona boss Andrea Mandorlini has revealed that his team will be hunting for their first win of the season as they prepare to face an unbeaten Torino at home on Sunday.

The Gialloblu have only managed to secure one draw and one loss in their first two matches of the 2015-16 campaign and the tactician is hoping that the Stadio Bentegodi outfit can finally secure their first victory, though he understands that the Granata will be a tough opponent to overcome after winning both of their opening games.

Mandorlini spoke during his pre-match press conference on Saturday about his side’s desire to earn all three points against Torino and commented on which players he may include in his starting squad.

“It will be a tough match against a team that has won both of their games thus far,” said the 55-year-old.

“However, we’ll be looking to start winning this season beginning with this game.

“[Torino coach Giampiero] Ventura? He’s one of the best at his job. He knows how to give confidence to his team.

“Rafael Marquez? He’s had some time to recover from his time with the international team, so we’ll see what happens.

“The challenge between Federico Viviani and [Torino midfielder] Daniele Baselli? They are two similar players.

“Federico is improving day by day, it’s now up to him to show what he can do.

“Romulo? He’s growing a lot and cannot wait to play. Tomorrow I will have to find the right time to put him on the field.”
