Napoli face competition from Real Madrid for Santos midfielder

Lucas Lima SantosNapoli will have to beat off Spanish giants Real Madrid if they want to sign Santos midfielder Lucas Lima.

The Partenopei are believed to hold an interest in bringing the box-to-box midfielder to the Stadio San Paolo to compete with the likes of David Lopez and Allan.

However, according to Digital Bernabeu, former the Ciucciarelli coach Rafa Benitez has been following Lima very closely and is keen on bringing him to the Spanish capital. 

This season Lima has played 21 games in the Brazilian first division scoring three times and creating six goals in the process.

He has also been capped by the Brazil in recent times and currently has two to his name, his first coming in a 1-0 win over Costa Rica.

Before moving to Santos the Napoli target played for Internacional.
