“When you change two or three players you must have a bit of patience, but all in all it’s going well,” Pruzzo told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I think this year the team have improved, it’s stronger and more complete.
“In attack Dzeko is very strong and he’s demonstrating it, but now we have to see how Roma perform when managing their league and European commitments.
“Roma can do better than last season and by better I mean going onto win the Scudetto, already being ahead of Juventus is a psychological advantage.”
The former forward also spoke about the Lupi’s summer transfer business and believes the loan-signing of Wojciech Szczesny can be important for the team.
“Who has surprised me so far? No one, because I think they’re all playing at the same level,” said the 60-year-old.
“The most positive signing has been the goalkeeper who has already been decisive a few times this season.”
