Rudi Garcia gave full credit to his side after they battled to a 2-0 victory away to Frosinone in the first ever meeting with the Serie A debutants.

Iago Falque continued to perform well for the Giallorossi and netted his first goal for the away side just before halftime before Juan Manuel Iturbe scored a late goal with a brilliant solo run in the final few minutes.

“The boys did well and we displayed everything on the pitch,” said a satisfied Rudi Garcia to Premium Sport after the match.

“Frosinone had plenty of heart and I congratulate them. Roma suffered very little and it was important not to concede any goals.”

The coach then focused his attention on their massive Champions League clash next Wednesday against Barcelona.

“Fortunately I have a big squad,” Garcia said.

“I have confidence in all my players and the best example is that Juan Manuel Iturbe came in and scored a goal and made a big contribution. I expect everyone to have this attitude to leave everything on the pitch for the team.”
