Roma striker Roberto Pruzzo has said that although losing Miralem Pjanic is a blow, it will be softened by the presence of Seydou Keita.

The Bosnian will be out for at least two weeks after he suffered a calf injury whilst on international duty.

“An injured player can not be a problem for a team like Roma otherwise why are there thirty players in the squad?” Pruzzo told Radio Radio.

“With the Bosnian missing you lose quality but you gain substance and this, when you play with the three in midfield, can also be a good thing.”

The former Genoa forward also said Keita’s physicality and hard work could be important in this weekend’s match against Frosinone.

“He can be replaced by Keita and this change in a tricky trip like that of Frosinone is not to be underestimated.

“The former Barcelona player is someone who Garcia relies on heavily and so it would seem like the logical choice.”
