bruno peres torinoRoma are considering a deal for Torino defender Bruno Peres in the January transfer window.

The Giallorossi are currently using a midfielder in Alessandro Florenzi at right-back due to doubts over Maicon’s fitness.

According to Tuttosport, if Maicon fails to prove his fitness soon then sporting director Walter Sabatini will make contact with Il Toro over their Brazilian full-back.

Maicon has been playing at the Stadio Olimpico since 2013 after joining from Manchester City and he made just 14 Serie A appearances over the course of the 2014-15 Serie A season.

Bruno Peres joined Torino in the summer of 2014 from Brazilian side Santos and impressed many observers of Serie A with his energetic displays as he scored three goals from 34 appearances during his first season in Italy.

He was linked with a move to Rome all summer but the two clubs failed to agree a fee for the Brazilian.
