Roma v NapoliPositive news arrived to Roma’s training ground at Trigoria regarding the condition of Bosnian international midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

The maestro was forcefully substituted just before half-time in his country’s 3-0 win against Andorra because of a calf strain, which according to initial estimates would keep him off the field for up to three weeks.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport the Giallorossi’s hero from the 2-1 win against Juventus spoke to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s doctor Reuf Karabeg and was reassured that he will be in match contention in two weeks at most.

This still means that Pjanic willl miss the Serie A fixtures against Frosinone and Sassuolo, as well as the highly anticipated Champions League opener against current holders Barcelona at the Stadio Olimpico, but Rudi Garcia may be able to use him for the trip to Sampdoria on September 23.
