Sampdoria sporting director Carlo Osti has confirmed that the club have secured the future of forward Eder, midfielder Roberto Soriano and full-back Lorenzo De Silvestri.

Il Doria will be particularly pleased to have renewed Eder’s and Soriano’s contract as the two looked like they were on the verge of leaving the club in the summer.

De Silvestri has extended his contract until 2019 whilst the two current Italian internationals have signed up until 2020.

“We have an ambitious project and the three players in question are essential to it,” said Osti.

Eder has been in fine form this season scoring five goals in just three games and creating one assist, whilst Soriano has also been impressive in Sampdoria’s opening games, scoring once and creating another two goals.
