Juventus are a side to fear and cannot be dismissed despite their recent run of form in Serie A.

The Group D leaders will travel to the Juventus Stadium on Wednesday night for the first time since lifting the Europa League trophy last year, and coach Emery believes the clash will be anything but easy.

“After winning the Europa League here in Turin [in 2014] we’ve returned here for the Champions League, and we will look to do our best,” Emery told journalists in his pre-match press conference.

“Playing here will motivate us a lot.

“As for Juventus, they have shown that they can win away against an on-form Manchester City side.

“They have a squad full of great players, and so their league position does not reflect their ability.

The Spanish coach then hinted at which players he will field for the big match, with Juve youth product Ciro Immobile among the possibilities.

“There’s the chance for anyone in the team to play. I assess the form [of the players] but also their experience before making any decision,” Emery added.

“We had Carlos Bacca in previous years, now we do not, so we have to make the most of the characteristics of the players at our disposal.

“I want to use my best possible line-up. If Immobile is fully fit then he could certainly play.”
