Juventus still have a great squad ahead of his side’s Champions League match at the Juventus stadium on Wednesday.

The Bianconeri host the Andalusian side in the second matchday of the Champions League but the build-up to the game has been overshadowed by coverage of Juventus’ poor start to the domestic season after recording just one win in their opening six matches, but Emery says his side will still be facing one of the best teams in Europe.

“Playing against Juventus is a great chance for us to show the whole of Europe what we’re capable of,” Emery told a press-conference ahead of the fixture.

“We face a team who were the tournament runners-up last season, a great squad, and our only goal is to perform well.

Emery also said he believes new signing Yehven Konoplyanka can adapt well into the current Europa League holders’ side.

“It’s our duty to help him adapt to our style of play,” continued Emery.

“He has excellent qualities so we will try to involve him and I’m sure if he continues to play then he will become an important player for us.”

Sevilla are level on points with the Bianconeri but sit top of Group D after a comprehensive 3-0 home win over Borussia Monchengladbach.
