Felipe, a returning Udinese player with 139 appearances for the club to his name, made his happiness known alongside the 24-year-old Argentine Insua, who joins the club on loan from Spanish sister club Granada.

“I’ve come home,” Felipe said at his official presentation.

“I’m very happy and my family is as well.

“I’ve returned to a strong team, with quality players and a coach with plenty of grit.

“I know that I’m an experienced player and that my contribution will be important on and off the pitch.”

The left-back followed with positive and determined comments of his own.

“For me, being here is a quantum leap,” added Insua.

“Arriving at a club like Udinese is the dream of every player from Argentina.

“This is a very serious and ambitious club, I am very happy to be here and I will try as much as possible to help the team.”
