Udinese have confirmed the free signing of Francesco Lodi on an initial one year contract.
The Neapolitan midfielder returns to the Serie A side for what will be his second stint at the club, following a loan spell in the 2009-10 season, and has signed a one year contract with the option to add an additional year if certain triggers are met.
The Friuli club announced the deal on their official website on Wednesday afternoon.
The 31-year-old has represented his fair share of clubs throughout his career, enjoying spells at Empoli, Vicenza, Frosinone, Catania, Genoa and Parma, as well as previoulsy playing for Udinese in his 15-year-long career.
The Italian has been capped at every undarage level from Under-15 to U-21, but has never made a full international appearance for the Azzurri.
