Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo plans to bring about drastic changes if the club’s league form does not improve soon.

The Zebrette lost 3-2 to AC Milan in Tuesday’s midweek Serie A fixture, a game that would have ended worse had it not been for Udinese’s second half attempt at a comeback.

According to La Gazzetta dello Spot, Pozzo released a statement following the game threatening significant changes in the mid-season transfer window if Udinese do not see positive results before then.

“They have to be careful because in January we can change everything and revolutionize the team,” said the Italian businessman.

Giampaolo Pozzo purchased Udinese in 1986 and has seen the club’s prestige wax and wane since then, including demotion to Serie B and qualification for Europe’s international club competitions.

Udinese’s season began with a surprise win against reigning champions Juventus, though the club currently find themselves in the relegation zone after have lost each of their four matches since then.
